Ship hull
Problem description
Flow around a ship hull.
Images
This simulation shows flow around a ship. The geometry is treated as symmetric and an area around the ship hull is meshed. The mesh is unstructured and nonorgthogonal, i.e. the line connecting two centres of adjacent cells is not orthogonal to the cell face through which it passes. The solution shows the pressures on the surface of the hull, with the surface mesh overlayed.
